Paparazzi vs. Celebrities?

There have been countless complications and feuds between celebrities and the paparazzi.  Will these battles ever end?
Oftentimes, both the celebrity and the paparazzi cross the line. For instance, in the video I watched of Iggy Azalea "loosing her cool", I think both her and the photographer were at fault. They both said inappropriate to one another which makes it clear that both of them crossed the line. It is surely true to say that just because an individual is famous, it does not give others the right to invade her or his privacy, and also that he or she can’t enjoy the quality of life as anyone else would.

I can say that it is wrong for the celebrities to "attack" the photographer, on the grounds that it is their job. Many celebrities have taken it too far, Iggy being one of those. It is safe to say that they must acknowledge and understand the fact that there are obviously consequences that come with fame and being well-known. Although the paparazzi should respect their privacy as a human being, just like us, they do what they have to do to make money.
I understand that without a doubt, celebrities face this issue on a daily basis and they get fed up with it, making it hard to stay calm. Both sides can be at fault depending on the situation, but if I were to take a side, it would be the paparazzi.

You can see the video of Iggy here.

  1. I agree with you, both Iggy and the paparazzi have done wrong in this situation. Iggy states that she is only trying to pick up some groceries in peace and would like it if she were not bothered. However, the paparazzo brings up the fact that he was just assaulted by both Iggy herself, and her friend. Paparazzi is a very large franchise, and it will not be disappearing anytime soon as technology continues to evolve and gain attention from people all over the world. Iggy is a famous celebrity and she should understand that things like this will happen.

  2. The Iggy vs paparazzi controversy is a very complicated topic because both sides prove very good points. Paparazzi are in the wrong when it comes to the privacy aspect of this whole job. It is 100% an invasion of privacy to follow people, wait for them outside their cars and even homes and go to the extremes they do just to snap a couple pictures. To me, I see paparazzi as disgusting. I think that it's not a profession and should be illegal because it's stepping over a line. In the video of Iggy Azalea, she does fight back by pushing her shopping cart into the man and her friend does spit on him as well. In this situation both people are in the wrong and they are on even grounds. Iggy does make good points by saying that she's just trying to shop in peace and shouldn't be bothered, etc, etc. BUT, the paparazzo states that he was assaulted which he was and that she's setting herself up for this by leading the life she does. Iggy lives in Los Angeles with hundreds of other celebrities and it's just life to have people photograph celebrities. She does have options such as moving or never make another song, letting her fame die down and everything'll be normal without interruptions and paparazzi being such nuisances.
